annemarie
Annemarie loves to explore the mind-body dynamic, in as many different ways as one lifetime allows.
As a kid she started dancing, and hasn’t stopped since. Put on any kind of song and she’ll start moving to it! The tough ballet world led her to yoga as a softer approach to movement. She now teaches flowy vinyasa and yoga nidra (the yoga of sacred sleep, and sometimes the perfect power nap).
Her mom always said she had golden hands, so after dance and yoga she decided to learn another dialect of body language: massage. She did her education in holistic relaxation massage, and has been adding deep tissue and fascia release techniques to her repertoire.
When you’re stuck, in your mind or in your body, the best thing to do is to slowly and gently start to move things around a bit. Change can only come if you make space for it. Annemarie has a background in philosophy and sees that as moving, stretching and kneading the mind, while massage is moving, stretching and kneading the body. Annemarie combines both in her massages, offering you an opportunity to find space, rest, and insights.
