Amanda
For almost a decade, Amanda has followed the language of the body across borders, cultures and oceans. Her journey began in beauty therapy, where she quickly discovered that massage was not just part of the work — it was her true calling. What started as curiosity evolved into deeper training and a steadily expanding practice.
Her career has taken her from luxury spas and resorts in Greece, London, Ireland, France and Spain to the refined and fast-paced world of superyachts. Working with clients from many nationalities shaped her understanding that massage is a universal language — one that transcends words and creates connection through touch.
Now based in Amsterdam, Amanda brings this global perspective into every session at Tension Tamers. She works with quiet attentiveness and full presence, meeting each body exactly where it is. For her, a massage is not just a treatment, but a long-anticipated moment of rest and restoration — a space where the nervous system can soften and the mind can settle.
Her personal practice of yoga and Pilates keeps her grounded and embodied. She is currently learning the piano and enjoys baking — simple rituals that reflect the rhythm, patience and care she brings into her work.
To Amanda, massage is more than a profession. It is a practice of presence, care and connection — wherever in the world she may be.
